Quick Start Guide

OK, to see what InfoCourier can do, we are going to compile this set of HTML pages and graphics into a distributable EXE file. Do the following:-

  1. Print this page out, so you can refer to it as we go through. Use the File/Print command.
  2. Use File/Open to open the courier.htm file in the \demoweb directory (which will be a subdirectory of the directory you selected to install InfoCourier to).
  3. Select File/Compile.
  4. Check the "Print All Enabled" box in the Compiler Options dialog that appears
  5. Click OK.
  6. Select whatever you like for an .exe name in the standard File Save dialog that appears. (Make sure you don't overwrite the ICOURIER.EXE file itself!).
  7. Wait for the compile to finish (it will display status information in the bar at the bottom and will "ding" when it is finished).
  8. Run the resulting .exe and read all about it! You can also print everything out using the File/Print All command.
